South African Colours

This week I have decided to show you all this lovely South African ribbon I found. I thought that it would go great in my collection of hair clips. Looked at all my hair clips and realized I did not have a cross one any where. So that is how I came up with the idea of a cross South African hair clip.

The necklace I made looks so pretty. I was given a lot of seed beads by a friend which I need to use up. When I was at the bead store the other day I noticed these lovely big black and white beads. With out thinking I bought them and knew I had black beads to go with it. The necklace is one long strand. It has a loop on it and stays in the front as a center piece/clasp. The strand of beads go around your neck and through the loop. It may not look like a great piece of jewelry but when you try it on you will fall in love with it.

About Me

My name is Nicola and I love creating new things. I am a photographer so one of my favourite things is making greeting cards using my original photographs. The cards are blank inside so they can be used for all occasions. I also love trying out all sorts of crafts and enjoy knitting and making beaded jewellery. I’m also busy studying Early Childhood Development and I am working at a Pre School called Makabongwe Methodist Pre School. They are a NPO started by the Manning Road Methodist Church. We serve the community of the Warwick Avenue area of Durban.
