Pre School Activities
Children’s bike area
When I started working at Makabongwe Methodist Pre School there was a place to ride bikes. Tyres were laid down as a border but the children kept moving them. So annoying. A while back the principal had made these cars using crates with wheels attached at the bottom. They are brilliant.
When I was annoyed enough with the tyre situation I offered the help of my fiance and me to cement the tyres into the ground. We worked hard on the one saturday with the principal and some labor. The principal said a while ago that we would get new bikes once the tyres had been sorted out. The new trikes are awesome. So strong and steady. A favourite part of my day is seeing them play with the bikes and with the crate cars.
My Colour Cards
A while ago I decided for morning ring I needed my own colour cards so I could test the children and see if they know their colours. They work very well for me so I am sharing them with you. I have the coloured in PDF and the non coloured in one.

Fantasy Room Decor
I have been put in charge of the Fantasy room in my school. Love how I can be creative in there. On Friday I moved the furniture around in that room and discovered an empty wall. To me this is no good. So I ask my principal if she had any frames I could use and in the holidays I would make some lovely pictures to go in them. I was blown over by what she gave me. They are deep frames so I can put 3D images in there. Here are the results…
